My future brother-in-law proved two weekends ago that he is a giant killer by winning the OCAA Provincial Cross Country Championships. David slayed two Goliaths--in the form of last year's champion, and a 30 minute 10k Kenyan runner, to become the second triathlete (the other being Simon Whitfield) in the history of the OCAA, to stand atop the podium. David has worked incredibly hard on his running in the past year and his return on investment is beginning to come into fruition.
David leaves Thursday with his Conestoga Team for the National Champs in Alberta this weekend. David will be gunning for an individual national championship and will lead his team--who have a chance of standing atop the podium. Let's all rally behind "Pre" and wish him luck in continuing to slay giants every time he toes the start line. This giant killer has become a giant himself.
