Sunday was the Owen Sound Triathlon which served as the Ontario Elite Tri Champs. It was a banner day for C3 athletes. The men went 1-2-3-4 with C3 alumni Paul Bregin taking 5th. Bechtel was very strong taking the win. Yorke, Sharratt, and myself helped domestique Andrew "Shagadelica" Woegerer so that he would qualify for Quest for Gold Funding.
The headquarters for the weekend took place at the Bechtel Cottage. What a beautiful area. The roads for cycling are simply incredible.
Congrats to Rachel, Coombs and Hall for awesome great performances in the Elite Women's field. Tyler Lord smashed out a 2nd place overall in the Saturday Sprint Duathlon.
Team LPC members Travis Goron (2nd Junior) and Dennis Masse (7th in 50-54) both finished off their triathlon season with very solid efforts.
